Default Re: Cartridge performance anyone?

I doubt it, but if you find some info on 90gr & 124gr 357Sig performance, I'd be much obliged.

I use little .380acp rds., pulled from factory fodder because I can't find Silvertips & Hydro-shoks (loose) for sale, for reloading. I load them screaming hot & have tested them in a bullet box, but have not heard about actual shooting applications.

Thanks!

The smallest calibre I have info on are .32 autos. .357 sigs are too recent. Keep in mind my information is based on actual shootings in the 1990s. There are some you might not expect, such a .45 Colt (Sometimes called Long Colt) with 65%-77% one shot stops on a little over 200 documented shootings (Federal 225gr LHP were best).

Awhile back I did some AmmoGuide.com comparison research on the .45 ACP and other rounds inspired by the .45 ACP. FWIW, here are some screenshots/graphics I accumulated...

This one includes the Auto Rim...

A few more .45 ACP derivatives on AmmoGuide of non-.452 bullet diameters (the .45 Remington-Thompson being .447")...

Thanks for that mikehass, really very interesting. Its much easier to understand some variations when clearly presented. I linked to the AmmoGuide.com, useful to know about.
