Maybe. I have a WW2 vintage set of plastic 1911A1 grips, but how do I know if they are Ithica?

Hope I did this right. The Keyes grip is the one with a narrow reinforcing band around screw and on the inside it has a star with a K inside it. The Colt has a bit wider reinforcing band. I suppose if I only look at one side at a time it wont matter.
Wow! Look at all the emoticons! Wish TFF had them.

I believe Remington Rand used them as well.

Well OK GunClinger. I found them, well one (the right one with no scoop for the spring and detents), the other is around but must be in another box. The one in front of me is as you describe brown with a K in a star, and a number 22 beside it. Condition, more worn than yours, but not too much so.

The right one is the one I need. How much for the grip and shipping?

How are you fixed for 1911 wood grips, Tranter, preferably a pair of smooth ones, i.e., without the checkering? Unlike most, I dislike the feel of checkered grips.

None I am afraid. Most of the grips I have are original spec having been removed for custom replacements. On a couple of occasions, very custom, being cut from thin wood like a veneer. This was to obtain the flattest possible profile. It may not sound as if it made a big difference, but it did.
