Birdshot and Buckshot If it has a smooth bore and it fires shot downrange, this is the place to talk about it and compare notes with others who love the sport of shotgunning.

Default Springfield Model 18 Series F Bolt Shotgun

I have inherited a Springfield Model 18 Series F Bolt Action Shotgun manufactured by Savage Stevens .

The barrel is marked .410 bore, 2 1/2-3" Shells. I have to assume it is a cylinder bore since no additional choke information is listed.

Does anyone have any information or experience with this model shotgun ?

Thank you,

My 11 year old son and I refinished the stock over this past weekend.

Complete strip, 4 coats TruOil, steel wooled, finished with Gunstock wax for matte finish.
